5. Google User Data (Google Search Console) & Limited Use

If you choose to connect your Google account to view your website's search performance inside rewebsite, we request read-only access to your Google Search Console data using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly scope, together with your basic profile email (openid, email). This connection is entirely optional and initiated only by you.

5.1 What we access

  • Your verified sites in Google Search Console, their sitemaps, and search analytics (impressions, clicks, queries, pages, average position) — read-only.
  • Your Google account email address, used only to show which account is connected.

5.2 How we use it

  • Solely to display your own search-performance analytics inside your rewebsite dashboard and to power the SEO features you explicitly request.
  • We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties.

5.3 How we store and how you revoke it

  • OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and isolated per account. You can disconnect at any time from the SEO settings, which revokes our access; you may also revoke it at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5.4 Limited Use

rewebsite's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer, sell, or use Google user data for serving advertisements, and we do not allow humans to read this data unless (a) we have your consent for specific messages, (b) it is necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or (c) the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers: Third parties that help us operate our Service (hosting, payment processing, analytics)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest, regular security audits, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
